I am very saddened to report that Unlimited Hobbies has suffered a fire. Michael advised that it looks like a lounge left out the front of the second hand shop may have been set alight and the resulting fire has caused severe damage to the retail area of Unlimited Hobbies. Briefly speaking to Michael he assures me that he himself remains unharmed but the shop has suffered greatly. Apparently the retail area has been destroyed and some damage has been inflicted to the upstairs gaming rooms. As the power junction box for the building was in the main store area the shop has lost power. A truly sad event but I am confident after speaking with Michael that he will have the shop back up and running as soon as possible. Needless to say that the shop is closed until further notice! All of us hear at Aquildora wish Michael the best and hope to see UH back stronger than ever.

Do you have any updates on what is happening with UH? I've been busy the during the last couple of weekends so I haven't had a chance to drop down to Mickeys.

I was helping out cleaning up last friday and he'd said it should be right for DnD. If i hear any diffrent then i'll say so.

WTB update on whats happening in our shop !!

After a long torturous wait Unlimited Hobbies is back in business.

It has been a long hard process for Michael having to deal with insurance and builders and suppliers..... Every time I've spoken to him he's regaled me with another tale of anguish and hard work. I tell you, you should really appreciate Unlimited Hobbies and the blood sweat and tears that Michael puts into the joint.

But finally the epicenter or nerdom is open once more. In one way the fire was a good opportunity for Unlimited Hobbies to reestablish itself. The rebuilding process has enabled Michael to rearrange the store and improve the layout. He's dismantled an entire wall and opened up the floor for gaming.

The upstairs rooms have been revamped and now await the march of stinky nerds and their coke guzzling gaming sessions.

Well I personally look forward to gaming there once more as the reopening certainly takes a strain from Aquildora and the constant shuffling of venues and times.
